It requires about 1.5 pounds of pivot force with wrist pronation supination and/or shoulder abduction to pivot the hand away from the object while magnetically engaged. The OmniCuff does not increase any range of motion.

Yes, the parts are dishwasher safe and the adapter strap can come off to be put in the washer machine or hand washed.
